Ink
In older recensions of LC there were far more INKs available than there are now,
I 'd be glad if someone could explain why they were removed.

Re: Ink
I believe it's in the Release Notes for the version with the change. IIRC that would be v7.0, a byproduct of switching the graphics subsystem to Skia.

What a pity.
Mind you, as this is probably the first time

Re: Ink
I know of one project adversely affected by the tradeoff of inks for graphic effects, and many for whom the graphic effects were a lifesaver.

Re: Ink
I wonder why BOTH systems could not have sat together in the IDE?I know of one project adversely affected by the tradeoff of inks for graphic effects, and many for whom the graphic effects were a lifesaver.

Re: Ink
Mark Waddingham could do a better job than I could in explaining how deeply inks are tied to the underlying graphics subsystem. I'm content to accept that they are, and even the one project I know of that was affected eventually found a workaround among the newer inks.
