Hi Everyone,
I have double checked with the dev team and there should be nothing to worry about
As Monte has mentioned, we have previously provided support for our users to build using older revisions of Xcode but with this announcement, you must build your LiveCode applications against XCode 5 to have them accepted into the iOS store.
The only side effect that this could have, again as Monte mentioned, is needing to upgrade your O/S too at least Mountain Lion and use a version of LiveCode that supports Xcode 5 (6.1.2+)
Kind Regards,
Neil Roger

Thanks for the confirmation, Neil as to to the iOS7 / Xcode 5 requirement not being an issue, at least for those who are are using ML or newer.

If I'm reading this correctly,
Any LC 5.5.5 licensed developers will need to upgrade to the $500 per year LC 6+ license
If they want to distribute/sell ios apps via apple App Store.

Yes... perhaps some extra incentive to get the megabundle?

Yes. Acknowledged.
Was having a really good look at it just now.
Can't justify it as a hobbiest who really likes LiveCode and all the support.
I.e. Not enough income, return, expectations, etc.
Looking for other avenues /reasons to stay with LC now...

Note to self:
Do not compare megabundle 2014 with the omegabundle 2011.

FWIW I purchased the Mega Bundle yesterday (was another user stuck in the 5.5.X Days) and its really good value.
Comes with heaps of great extras to play with, some of which are very nice and I can see a use for them in some of my Projects.
