Setting up a Rev CGI Environment on pgware.com

Are you using LiveCode to create server scripts or CGIs?

Setting up a Rev CGI Environment on pgware.com

Post by Garrett » Fri Jul 07, 2006 1:52 am

I use pgware.com hosting for my site and thought I'd give rev a try on
cgi there. Works but with only one hitch. I couldn't get the cgi-bin
directory to cooperate, so I made a new directory called rev-bin, then
uploaded the linux engine and the test script, chmod them to 775 and
that was it.

http://pgware.com/solutions/hosting/
Prices as of July 2006:
PACKAGE A - 100 Mb disk space, 10 Gb data transfer @ $5 USD/month.
PACKAGE B - 500 Mb disk space, 50 Gb data transfer @ $15 USD/month.
PACKAGE C - 1200 Mb disk space, 120 Gb data transfer @ $30 USD/month.

The guy who runs it is a long time programming buddy of mine from my
Visual DialogScript (VDS) days.

I've never had any problems with the hosting there.
