I've done some more work on these templates and now have some support for creating Android externals (in C, C++ and Java) and choosing to use either LCIDLC or the old externals.h/c style externals. If anyone is interested to contribute I would like to extend the project to support other platforms. What I'd like to add next is Visual C++ wizards for Windows and a shell script to pump out makefiles for Linux. Long term I'd like to make some changes to LCIDLC to pump out a header file that exposes the external functions directly for LCB foreign handlers and provide support for a limited subset of the LCIDLC api in LCB.
