Re: LiveCode with Sonoma 14.2?

but your post suggests the official version No, I run a patched version, and that can be readily found by looking "in the usual places", and as LC 963Open Source is, well, open Source, no-one should be fussed about that. And as LiveCode let LC 9.6.3 Open source "go free" quite a while back now I am...

Re: Apps not opening

How about running your stack on either Linux or Macintosh: if it runs on one of those systems you know the problem is with your Windows set up, if it does not run then the problem is somewhere in your stack. Re: Converting from VB6 programming language

Very odd indeed. I worked with VB 5 during a Masters course and used to go home every night and reduplicate each exercise in RunRev; which served 2 purposes: 1. The exercises were great for improving my RunRev skills. 2. I'd not go near VBA or VB 5 with a ten foot pole after I'd finished my Masters....

Re: Is a good idea?

LiveCode is extremely easy to understand up to a certain level, and because you get almost instant feedback this also makes things easier than C.

Re: Hiding The Keyboard.

Unlike some people I did not jump to conclusions, and spent far too much time attempting to hide a MacOS on-screen keyboard:

As that floats over every LC stack and palette I suspect it cannot be done.

Re: Hiding The Keyboard.

Do you mean the on-screen keyboard on a phone, or one on a computer screen?
